PSA: You made it. We made it. One month in.

The Nursing Well is officially one month old, and I am sharing this in the soft stretch between shifts, sipping the last of my cup of Costa Rican coffee, heart full of gratitude.
July came in like a love song, sun-warmed, rain-kissed, and completely unpredictable.
It brought:
☕️ Mornings in the Costa Rican jungle
🌧️ Dancing in the rain with no plan, just pure presence
🎢 Laughter and magic in Disneyland and California Adventure
🩺 Big decisions and even bigger trust falls
💗 Moments of solitude, sisterhood, and a sacred “Yasss” to myself
This past month reminded me that adventure doesn’t always look like a straight line. Sometimes the most meaningful detours are the ones that bring you back to yourself.
I have been choosing myself in quiet and courageous ways lately, ways that feel like clearing space in a zen garden, or like returning to the roots of why I became a nurse in the first place.
And I’ve realized this: We are allowed to change.
We are allowed to bloom again.
We are allowed to rest.
So here’s to you, whether you’ve been here since day one, or you just stumbled across The Nursing Well today. Your presence matters here. Your healing matters too. And this space will always be a place for you to come back to.
Take what nourishes you. Leave what doesn’t. Pour a cup of something warm and stay a while.
And as for giving + receiving. I am learning that when it comes from the heart, it never runs out. More on that soon. For now, may we all stay open to the blessings still making their way toward us.
With so much love and devotion,
Mika 🤍
