“I Built a Well Because I Was Thirsty: Why I Created The Nursing Well”

Updated: Oct 28

ree

A love letter to every nurse who’s ever needed a softer place to land.

I didn’t start The Nursing Well because I had all the answers.

I started it because I had questions.

Like:

  • What happens when the healer needs healing?

  • Who takes care of the one who always shows up?

  • How do I make space for the version of me that’s soft, powerful, radiant, and not running on fumes?

So, I made this well.

Because I was thirsty.

A Well is a Symbol

Not a faucet.

Not a pipeline.

A well is sacred.

It’s deep. It’s ancient. It holds what you need, but you have to come sit by it, slow down, and draw it out.

This space was never meant to be rushed.

It was meant to be felt.

To be filled.

To remind you that you are not alone, and you don’t have to hustle to be holy.

I Created This Space For…

  • The nurse with the tired feet and the aching heart

  • The healer who always pours and rarely receives

  • The woman rediscovering her dreams between shifts

  • The spirit craving joy, softness, and realignment

I created The Nursing Well so we’d all have somewhere to go when we need to:

  • Be reminded of our magic

  • Rest without guilt

  • Create income that doesn’t drain us

  • Heal while we help others do the same

This is More Than a Blog—It is a Moment of Sacred Flowetry

It’s a call to every nurse, every nurturer, every “strong one” who’s secretly longing for their soft life.

It’s a reminder that rest is revolutionary.

That your ideas matter.

That your energy is worth preserving.

That you can make money doing what you love, and feel good doing it.

This blog is the spark, not the finish line.

From My Heart to Yours:

I am not just building a brand.

I am building a sanctuary.

A place where nurses and caregivers can come home to themselves.

Where you can come home to you.

And my dear, your healing ripple is divine.

So don’t shrink.

(Please don’t shrink!)

Don’t second-guess.

Don’t stop now.

Your life gets to feel good.

Your work gets to align.

Your dreams get to be realized.

With rosewater love + rooted knowing,

Mika
