🌿 The Birth of The Nursing Well

Updated: Oct 28

Why I Started This Blog

There’s something sacred about beginnings. They often come quietly, in the midst of life's noise, like a whispered promise in the eye of a storm.

The Nursing Well was born during one of the most intense, tender, and transformative seasons of my life...nursing school. Balancing studies, a new relationship, family responsibilities, and finances wasn’t easy. It stretched me in ways I never anticipated. But through all the stress and striving, a seed was planted in my heart: one day, I want to create a space just for us.

A space for nurses, caregivers, and women who give so much of themselves to the world,

to come home to their own healing.

A space that nourishes the spirit, reminds us to slow down, to breathe, to pour into ourselves first.

The Nursing Well is that space.

It is where wellness meets soul.

Where clinical experience meets heart centered wisdom.

Where a love of natural healing, fresh juice, crystal energy, and bedtime routines coexist with charting, shift changes, and showing up in the world as a caregiver.

It is for the ones who believe in love and alignment.

Who desires more than survival, she wants overflow.

Who lights soy candles, drinks green tea, rubs oil into her skin and whispers affirmations of joy and wholeness into her bones after a long shift.

This is a soft place to land, for me, and for you.

Through this blog, I will be sharing wellness tools, post shift recovery, affirmations, personal reflections, holistic nourishment, and gentle inspiration rooted in both my nursing knowledge and my lived experiences.

My hope is that you feel seen here.

That this space supports you the way a deep, cool well supports a weary traveler; refreshingly, honestly, and fully.

Because you deserve to be well, too.

Welcome to The Nursing Well.

We’re just beginning. 🌱

With love,

Mika
